Salty Office Swim – Terms of Service
Effective Date: March 1st 2026
By booking or participating in lessons with Salty Office Swim, you agree to the following Terms of Service.
1. Services
Salty Office Swim offers private, one-on-one swim instruction for individuals ages 3 through 65+. Lessons are conducted at client-provided or mutually agreed-upon locations, including private pools or ocean environments.
2. Booking & Payment
Lessons may be booked through our website or by phone. We offer both single lessons and lesson packages.
All lessons and packages must be paid in advance. Accepted payment methods include credit/debit cards and ACH transfers.
All lessons must be scheduled and completed within 90 days of purchase unless otherwise agreed. Lessons and packages are non-transferable.
3. Cancellation, Rescheduling & Attendance Policy
Clients must cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours in advance.
Cancellations or reschedules made within 24 hours will result in the lesson being forfeited
No-shows will be charged in full and lose the lesson
Lessons will end at the scheduled time regardless of late arrival. Late arrival will not extend the lesson time, as this ensures subsequent clients do not lose their scheduled time
Salty Office Swim reserves the right to cancel or reschedule lessons due to unsafe weather conditions or other safety concerns.
4. Weather & Safety Conditions
For outdoor or ocean-based lessons, weather and water conditions are evaluated at the instructor’s discretion. Safety is the top priority, and lessons may be modified, rescheduled, or canceled as needed.
5. Assumption of Risk & Liability Waiver
Swim lessons involve inherent risks, including but not limited to injury, drowning, or other water-related hazards.
A signed liability waiver is required prior to participation. By participating, clients acknowledge and accept all associated risks.
6. Client Responsibilities
Clients (or parents/guardians) agree to:
Disclose any and all relevant medical conditions prior to participation
Follow all safety instructions provided by the instructor
Ensure a parent or guardian is present for all minor participants
Arrive on time and prepared for lessons
Salty Office Swim is not responsible for injuries or incidents resulting from undisclosed medical conditions or failure to follow instructions.
7. Refund Policy
All sales are final and non-refundable once purchased. Missed or forfeited lessons will not be refunded under any circumstances.
8. Media Release
Salty Office Swim may capture photos or videos during lessons for marketing and promotional purposes.
If you do not wish to be included in any media, you must submit a written request prior to your lesson by contacting saltyofficeswim@gmail.com.
9. SMS Communication
By submitting your phone number through our website or contact forms, you agree to receive SMS (text) messages from Salty Office Swim, including lesson reminders, scheduling updates, and promotional messages. Message frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time or HELP for assistance.
10. Right to Refuse Service
Salty Office Swim reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service at any time for reasons including, but not limited to, safety concerns, inappropriate behavior, non-compliance with policies, or any situation that may pose a risk to the client or instructor.
11. Changes to Terms
Salty Office Swim reserves the right to update or modify these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of services constitutes acceptance of any changes.
